You can find Sree Shiva Enterprises over on Killari Road, right behind Sri Textiles. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze getting down this lane, especially when the delivery trucks are blocking the way. We’ve been here for years, just across from R C Dutt Road. Mostly we just deal with everyday supplies and trade bits that the local shops need. It’s a family-run thing, so someone is always around to answer the phone or talk to people walking in. The building is older and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it works for us. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor. There are boxes piled up everywhere because that’s just how the business goes. Usually, mornings are the busiest when the stocks arrive. We spend most of the time checking lists and making sure the inventory is where it should be. It gets loud with the market noises nearby but we don’t mind it much anymore. Sometimes people get lost looking for the back entrance near the textile shop, so we just tell them to keep walking until they see our small board. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just making sure the goods move from one place to another. It’s steady work and keeps us occupied throughout the week.
