Al Danube Building Material, Dubai

We are based in Bangalore, working in the building materials trade. It is a busy city to be in, especially with all the construction going on everywhere you look. We go by the name Al Danube Building Material, Dubai, and although we have roots that stretch out to the UAE, our daily grind happens right here in the local market. Dealing with materials means we see a lot of different people, from small contractors to folks just trying to fix up their own homes. Our setup in Bangalore is pretty basic because we prefer to spend our time on the actual stock and logistics rather than on fancy office furniture. The traffic here can be a real headache, so we spend a lot of our morning just planning out the best routes for deliveries. We are just a group of people who understand what makes a building solid. We don’t have a script for when people call; we just answer their questions as best as we can. Sometimes we get really busy and things feel a bit chaotic, but we always manage to find what someone is looking for. It's about being reliable and knowing your inventory. We don't make big promises, we just try to have the right stuff ready when it's needed. It's a loud, fast-paced environment, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We’ve got stacks of wood and bags of cement all over, but we know where everything is. It’s just how we run things in this city.
