Sree Manjunatha Stone Traders

Sree Manjunatha Stone Traders is located over at Shop Number 27/1 in Yadavanahalli. We are right on Hosur Main Road, not too far from the Gurslline Hotel, which most people know if they drive through Attibele or Anekal. It’s a dusty kind of job, dealing with stones and trading all day, but it’s what we do. The trucks come and go all day long because we’re right there on the main road. It gets pretty noisy with the traffic from Hosur, but it’s a good spot for people to pull over and see what we have in stock. We keep the stone slabs and materials out where they can be seen. It isn't a polished showroom or anything like that. It’s a yard and a shop where work actually happens. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually have some tea under the shade when there’s a break in customers. We’ve been in Attibele for a while and seen how much more traffic there is now than five years ago. People stop in on their way back from the city or when they are heading out towards the border. We just tell them what we have and what it costs. No fancy talk or sales pitches here. Just some guys selling stone and making sure the orders get loaded correctly onto the trucks. It's hard work, but it keeps us going every day.
