Sree Annapurna General Traders

You can find Sree Annapurna General Traders over at 14/13 in JP Nagar. It’s a typical trading spot. We have a bit of everything coming through the doors. Bags of rice, sugar, maybe some household items depending on the week. It’s not organized like those big supermarkets you see now. We have things stacked in corners and sometimes you have to move three boxes to get to the one you actually want. JP Nagar is a busy area, so we get a lot of foot traffic. Most of our regulars are people from the blocks nearby who have been coming to us for years. We know their names and what they usually need. The shop is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some places, but it serves its purpose. We don't spend money on fancy signs or lighting. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front step, and start the day. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s just the two of us running things mostly, so it gets hectic during the evening rush. We don't have a computer system for the stock; we just write things down in a big ledger book. It works for us and we haven't seen a reason to change it. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We just keep the shelves full and the doors open.
