Sree Amba Granite

We are over at 32 Electronic City. It’s been our spot for quite some time now. Dealing with granite isn't the cleanest job in the world, you get a lot of dust on your boots by the end of the day. We spend most of our mornings moving slabs around the yard and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the trucks arrive late because of the traffic around here, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's a lot of heavy lifting. My cousin helps out with the cutting and I usually handle the guys who come in looking for kitchen tops or flooring pieces. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a workshop with a lot of stone and some old machines that still work perfectly fine. If you walk in, you’ll probably see us covered in gray powder from the saws. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready for whoever needs them. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we started, more buildings going up every month. We’ve seen the roads get wider and the traffic get worse. It’s just part of life at Electronic City. Most days are long, but there is something nice about seeing a finished piece of stone heading out on a truck. We don't do much talking, mostly just measuring and cutting until the sun goes down.
