Southern Steel Products

Southern Steel Products is located right behind Shivaji Talkies on J.C. Road. Our shop is No-114/B. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the shops and people. We deal with steel, so the place is usually pretty loud with the sounds of metal being moved around. It’s not a clean job, and our clothes are usually stained by the end of the day. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time. The building is old and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves its purpose for holding our stock. We don't have a fancy showroom for people. Most people just come into the back area to see what we have on the floor. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. We have a couple of guys who help with the loading. J.C. Road is always a mess with parking, so getting a truck in here takes some skill. We just try to get the orders filled as they come in. Sometimes we run out of certain items and have to wait for the next delivery to arrive. We don't have a big mission or anything like that, we just sell steel products to anyone who needs them for their projects. It’s a simple business. We close up when the work is finally finished. It’s been our home for years and we don’t plan on moving.
