Chhabria & Sons is located at 71 Shirdi Sai Bhavan on Veerapillai Street. We are near Kamaraj Road Cross, just a short walk from Commercial Street, so the whole area is always buzzing with shoppers and traffic. Our shop is one of those places that has been around for a long time. People usually find us by looking for the landmarks nearby. Inside, it’s a mix of old shelves and new stock. We deal with a lot of different things, and the counters are usually covered with samples and catalogs. It’s a family-run kind of atmosphere, so there’s always someone you know behind the desk. We spend a lot of time talking to customers and trying to find exactly what they need in the back room. Sometimes it takes a while to dig through the inventory, but we usually have it somewhere. The street outside is narrow and loud, with scooters honking all day long. It’s just the way life is in this part of Bangalore. We don’t have a website that does everything for us; we prefer to just talk to people when they come in. The lights might flicker occasionally, and the floorboards might creak, but the shop has a lot of history. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, opening up early and staying until the last customer leaves in the evening.
