Southern Grnaites Inco.

Southern Grnaites Inco. is located at No. 11 on Friends Avenue in Arunbakkam. We’ve been sitting on this corner for quite a bit. It’s a nice enough spot, though the traffic on the avenue can get a bit loud during the day. We deal with a lot of granite and stone, as you can probably guess from the name. Our yard is usually full of slabs leaning against each other. It’s heavy work and it can be quite dirty with all the stone dust around. We don't have a big polished lobby or anything. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you out, usually with some dust on their clothes. We have a small crew that knows how to move these big pieces of stone without breaking them. It’s a skill you learn over many years. We mostly work with local builders and people who are doing up their kitchens or floors. We aren't interested in being the biggest company around. We just want to stay busy and do a good job for the people who come to see us. Sometimes we have a lot of stock and sometimes we’re waiting for more to arrive. That’s just the way the stone business goes. We like it here in Arunbakkam and hope to be around for a long time. It's just us and the stone.
