Solitaire Hotel

You can find us at Number 3 in the Kothi Pole area of Madhavanagar. We are right near Shivananda Circle, which is a very well-known spot in this part of Bangalore. The hotel is tucked into the city streets where things are always moving. We have been running Solitaire Hotel for a few years now. It’s a straightforward place to stay. We don't have those big glass elevators or uniforms for everyone. It is more of a local setup where you might see me or my brother behind the desk. Most of the people who come here are just passing through for a day or two. We have a few rooms and we try to keep them tidy. The area around Shivananda Circle gets a lot of traffic, especially with the bridge and the signal, so it’s never really quiet. But it is very convenient if you need to get to the main city parts quickly. We don’t do a lot of fancy talking about our history. We just opened up because the building was available and we knew how to manage a guest house. We spend our days doing the laundry, fixing things that break, and making sure the water is running. It is a lot of work, but it keeps us busy. We are just a local business trying to make things work in a busy city. Sometimes we sit outside in the evenings when the traffic dies down just to breathe.
