We've been at 227 Dr Rajkumar Road in Koramangala for a good while now. It's a busy spot but we like it here. Most of the day is spent looking under car hoods or sorting out wiring that's gone wrong. Dealing with auto electrical stuff isn't always clean work, my hands are usually covered in grease by noon. People come in when their lights won't turn on or the battery keeps dying on them. It’s just me and a couple of guys working on whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it’s a quick fix, other times we are staring at a fuse box for an hour trying to figure out why a horn stopped working. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Usually, people just hang out on the curb or go grab a tea nearby while we finish up. The traffic on this road can get pretty loud, especially in the evenings, but you get used to it. We just focus on getting the cars back on the road. It's practical work. If a starter motor is acting up, we take it apart and see if it can be saved. We have a lot of tools scattered around the workbench, but I know where everything is. It’s not a big corporate garage, just a local shop doing what needs to be done for the neighborhood cars. We see a lot of the same faces from around Koramangala.
