Smartech is located over at No.3/50 near Nagasandra Circle. If you know Basavanagudi, you know how busy South End Road gets. We’ve got this small spot where we handle computer repairs and some other tech services. It’s not a big corporate office, just a practical shop where things get done. We spend a lot of time looking at broken screens and trying to recover data from USB sticks that people accidentally washed in their pockets. The shop isn't always the tidiest because there are always boxes of parts arriving or old monitors sitting in the corner waiting for pickup. We’ve been around this part of town long enough to know most of the regulars who stop by for a chat or to ask a quick tech question while they’re out running errands. It’s mostly just hands-on work here. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. If a computer is slow, we open it up and see what’s clogging it up. Sometimes it’s just a lot of dust, other times it’s software that shouldn't be there. We deal with printers too, which are honestly more trouble than they’re worth most days, but people need them fixed. Being near the circle means there’s a lot of noise, but you get used to it after a while. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever is on the bench that day. It’s a bit messy but we know where everything is.
