Computer Basics

Our shop, Computer Basics, is located at 91 1St Main Road in Bangalore. We are right at the 1St Cross in the G.K.V.K Layout area. It's near the G.K.V.K Post in Yelhanka, which is a bit of a drive from the city center but it’s a good area. We’ve been fixing computers and helping people with their tech stuff here for a long time. The shop is filled with spare parts, old monitors, and cables. It looks a bit cluttered to an outsider but we know exactly where every screw and motherboard is kept. We started this because we liked taking things apart and putting them back together. Most of our customers are neighbors or students from nearby. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It's just a workbench and some shelves. Sometimes we stay late to finish a repair if someone really needs their laptop back for school the next day. The 560065 zip code is our home and we like being part of the community here. We talk to everyone who walks in, usually about whatever is broken or how the weather is. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us who know our way around a hard drive. We don’t use big words to explain things, we just tell you what’s wrong and fix it. We enjoy the work and the people who come by every day. It’s just how we run things in this neighborhood.
