Smart N Care

My shop is situated in Rajajinagar 5th Block at No.676 on the 61st Cross. We are very close to Bashyam Circle, which is a place most people in this part of Bangalore know well. I chose the name Smart N Care a while back, but we are really just a neighborhood spot for grooming. I have worked in this specific area for many years now. It is a residential part of town, so I see the same families over and over. I have seen kids grow up and start coming in for their own haircuts. That makes the work feel more personal to me. The shop isn't very large, but I try to keep everything in its place. I spend my early mornings getting the towels ready and cleaning the mirrors. Rajajinagar is a big place, but the 5th block has a nice, quiet feel compared to the main roads. I do most of the work myself so I can make sure it’s done right. If there are a few people waiting, they just sit on the bench or chat with each other. I don't like to rush through a job. I think people like that I take my time. The street outside can get a bit tight with all the parked cars, but that’s just how it is here. I have seen many businesses change hands around here, but I have managed to keep going. It’s about being there when people need you and doing a fair day's work for a fair price.
