It can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't from around here, but once you see the stacks of aluminium and hardware, you know you've arrived. S.M.Aluminium Fabs And Hardware is a place where there is always some kind of noise. Between the cutting and the drilling, it never really stays quiet during the day. We have been working out of this spot for a while now. The dust gets everywhere, no matter how much we sweep the floor in the morning. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you'll probably find us with grease on our hands or carrying heavy frames. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy. We mostly deal with people who are building things or fixing up their houses. The weather can make things tough sometimes, especially when it gets too hot in the afternoon under the roof. We just drink some water and keep moving. It is a straightforward business. We take the measurements, we cut the metal, and we put things together. That is pretty much how every day goes for us here. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that, just this workshop and our tools.
