Skill Tech Moulds

We are located over in Kamakshi Palya, specifically near Govinda shetty Palya. If you know the area, you know it's full of small workshops and industrial units. Our place, Skill Tech Moulds, is where we handle the heavy stuff. We make moulds for various industries, which means there’s always a bit of grease and metal shavings on the floor. It’s hard work and it gets hot near the machines, especially in the afternoons. We started out with just one or two old machines and slowly added more as we went along. The space is a bit cramped now because we have so many templates and blocks lying around. You have to watch your step when you walk in. Most of our day is spent looking at blueprints or adjusting the lathes. We aren't big on talking; we usually just focus on the metal. It’s a practical business. If a client needs a specific shape, we figure out how to cut it. We’ve had some of the same guys working here for years. They know the sounds the machines make when something is slightly off. It’s not a quiet neighborhood, but we fit right in with all the other shops nearby. We just stay busy and try to keep the orders moving out the door on time. It’s steady work and we like it that way. No big stories here, just cutting steel and making sure the dimensions are right.
