Shri Manjunatha Water Supply

Out here in Virgo Nagar, we run Shri Manjunatha Water Supply. It is a straightforward business. We have a couple of tankers and we spend most of our time driving back and forth. Water is something everyone needs, so we stay pretty busy throughout the year. The summers are the worst because everyone is calling at once, and there are only so many hours in the day. I usually drive one of the trucks myself while my cousin handles the other one. We know every pothole and shortcut in Virgo Nagar by now. Our office is just a small room where we keep the keys and the logbooks. It’s not much to look at, but it’s where we plan our routes. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just have our phone numbers painted on the side of the tanks. People call us when their tanks are empty, and we get there when we can. It’s tiring work and the hours are long, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the trucks break down and we have to spend the weekend fixing them under the shade of a tree. We just want to provide a steady supply to the people around here without any drama or complications. It’s not a glamorous life, but it pays the bills and keeps the neighborhood going. We don't need much else besides a working engine.
