You have to go up to the 6th floor on Hennur Main Road to find us, which is a bit unusual for a battery shop, I know. But Shree Manjunatha Battery & Auto Electrical Works makes it work. We handle all sorts of electrical issues for cars and bikes. Most of the heavy testing happens in the small space we have upstairs, but we are always running up and down to the street where the vehicles are parked. Batteries are heavy, and moving them around is a workout. We get a lot of people coming in with dead starters or lights that won't stop flickering. It’s a lot of testing wires and looking for shorts. The air always smells a bit like acid and old metal. We don't have a fancy waiting room with a TV. You usually just stand around and talk to us while we work. The 6th floor gives us a bit of a view, though we are usually too busy looking at a multimeter to notice. Hennur is growing fast, and there are more cars on the road every day, which means more work for us. We aren't the cheapest, and we aren't the most expensive; we just charge what’s fair for the time it takes. Some days are slow, and we just sit and listen to the radio, but mostly it’s a rush of people needing their vehicles back for the commute home. We just do the job and head out.
