Shree Durga Darshini Hotel

We've been here at the DRN Building for quite a while now. It's right near the Chowdeshwari bus stand, so we see a lot of people coming and going every single day. Mathikere is a busy spot, and being in the Shri Swami Samarth Colony means we get a good mix of locals and folks just passing through. The hotel itself is pretty straightforward. We open up early to get things ready for the morning crowd. It gets a bit loud with the buses outside, but that’s just how it is around here on Wakad Road. I usually handle the front while the rest of the guys are in the back making sure there’s enough food for everyone who walks in. It isn't a fancy place, just somewhere to sit down and eat something hot before heading back to work or catching a bus. We see the same faces most mornings, people who live nearby or work in the shops around the colony. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy near the entrance, but we try to keep it tidy enough. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so we don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. Just us in the kitchen and at the counter. If you’re around the bus stand, you’ve probably seen our sign. We just keep doing what we do every day, serving whoever comes through the door. It’s hard work but it keeps us busy and part of the neighborhood.
