Sholin Impex

Our place is at No. 75 Dr. A. K. Rao Road in V. V. Puram. It’s an older part of the city and we really like the character of the neighborhood. Sholin Impex is a small operation that we run from this office. It’s not a high-rise building with glass walls, just a regular brick and mortar space that has been around for quite a while. Inside, we have our desks set up and plenty of shelves for all the paperwork that comes with the import and export business. Dr. A. K. Rao Road is usually quite busy with people and vehicles, so there is always a bit of background noise while we work throughout the day. We don't mind it much because it keeps us feeling connected to the city. We spend our time tracking orders and making sure the suppliers are on schedule. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don’t go as planned, but we just figure it out as we go. We don’t have any fancy titles or a big corporate structure. We all just do what needs to be done to keep things moving. Sometimes we get lunch from one of the nearby stalls in V. V. Puram, which is one of the perks of being in this area. We’ve been here long enough that the postman knows us by name and stops to chat for a second. It’s a simple, honest business and we just take things one day at a time without any unnecessary fuss or bother.
