Shine Batteries

Our shop, Shine Batteries, is at 132/C on the Hosur Main Road in Ganganagar. It’s right on the main stretch, so it stays pretty lively outside. Inside, it's mostly stacks of batteries and boxes. We have everything from small ones for bikes to the heavy ones for trucks and home backups. It’s heavy work, lifting those units all day, but it keeps us fit. We spend a lot of time testing voltages and checking acid levels. The smell of lead and plastic is just part of the air here. We aren't really salespeople; we just tell people which battery fits their needs and how to keep it lasting longer. There’s a small desk where we keep the records, but mostly we are on our feet. The floor is concrete and we’ve got a few posters on the walls that have been there for years. We get a lot of commuters stopping by because of our location on the main road. Sometimes it’s a quick swap and they’re gone, other times we have to charge a battery overnight. We don't have any fancy displays. It’s a practical shop for people who need power. We’ve been here a good while and we know the locals well. It's just a regular business doing regular things day in and day out. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have to wait around, but we usually find something to clean while we wait.
