Our office is on Lalbagh Road, located at 52/1-1 and 53, quite close to the passport office in the Mekri Layout area. Having that government building nearby means there is always a massive crowd outside, which makes for some very interesting people-watching during breaks. We have been operating as Sharadha Auto Agent for quite a few years now. The interior is simple, mostly consisting of heavy desks, plastic chairs, and stacks of ledgers and registration forms. We deal with vehicles and the mountain of paperwork that comes with them, although we never touch an actual engine. Most of our work involves sorting out the confusing details that people don't want to handle themselves. The traffic on Lalbagh Road never seems to stop, creating a constant background noise of honking horns and idling engines. Pens seem to grow legs and walk away here, so we have to keep a large stash in the drawer for customers. Since there is no air conditioning, we just leave the windows open and keep the old fans spinning. Humidity sometimes makes the forms curl at the edges, but we just press them flat and keep going. Being near Ghodasar makes the location easy for most people to find. We aren't looking to become a giant corporation; our goal is just to finish the day's tasks and head home. It is just a regular local business where we try to keep things moving as best as we can.
