Shalini Resort

Shalini Resort is situated at 13/2 Seshadripuram. Calling it a resort might make people think of swimming pools and big gardens, but it’s actually a pretty straightforward building in a very busy part of the city. We have rooms for people who are traveling for work or just need a place to stay for a night or two without spending too much. The building has been here for a good number of years. You can see the wear on the walls and the floors, but we try to keep things clean and functional. The reception desk is right near the entrance, and there’s usually someone sitting there listening to the radio or reading the paper. Seshadripuram is a loud area, so you can always hear the traffic and the buses passing by outside. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a kitchen that serves five-star meals. Usually, guests just go out to one of the local eateries nearby for their breakfast or dinner. The fans in the rooms hum a bit, and the curtains are simple cotton ones. It’s the kind of place where you get your key, go up to your room, and rest. We don’t do a lot of advertising or anything like that. People mostly find us by word of mouth or because they saw the sign while driving through the neighborhood. It’s just a basic place to stay in a central location. It works well for folks who are on a budget and need to be near the station.
