Shakthi Battery Industries

Shakthi Battery Industries has been part of JP 1st Phase 231 for a good long while now. If you come by, you’ll see batteries stacked up almost to the ceiling. They are heavy things, and my back definitely feels it by the end of the week. The address at 231 is easy enough to find once you get into the first phase area. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside with all the stock we keep on hand. I spend a lot of time checking connections and making sure everything is where it should be. The floor is concrete and stays pretty cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a functional space for battery work. Customers usually come in with their old units looking for a replacement. Most of the time, we are just talking about specs and sizes. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first started, but we are still here in the same spot. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow road, and we have to help them navigate the turn. It’s just part of the daily routine at Shakthi Battery Industries. We don't use any high-tech systems to track things; a simple ledger usually does the trick for us. It feels like home after all these years of working the same shifts. There's always a bit of an acid smell in the air, but you stop noticing it after five minutes.
