Senior Technician

The shop is at 82, Siddeshwara Nilaya, over on 1st Main in PF Layout. I’m tucked away in the 6th cross area of the neighborhood. Bangalore-40 is the general location. It’s a typical Bangalore residential street with houses built very close together. As a senior technician, I handle a lot of different repairs and technical tasks right here from this spot. Maruthi Mandira is the local landmark most people use to find the way here. Vijaya Nagara is a busy place overall, but this particular cross is a bit calmer than the main drags. I’ve got tools scattered across several benches. It’s not always the cleanest place because there’s always something being worked on or taken apart. I started this a long time ago. People in the neighborhood know where to find me if they have a technical problem that needs fixing. I don't really do the whole fancy office thing. It’s a ground floor setup mostly, which makes it easy to move things in and out. Sometimes the dog from next door comes by and sits near the door. I spend my mornings getting through the backlog of work. The afternoons are usually for the harder stuff that requires more focus and silence. It’s a steady rhythm that I've grown used to over the years. The 1st Main road usually has bikes parked all along it, making it narrow. It’s just a regular life here with plenty of work to keep me going and staying out of trouble.
