Satish Granites

Satish Granites is out in Jigani, which is in the southern part of Bangalore. Our address is 5 B. If you know Jigani, you know it’s the place to go for stone and marble. Our yard is pretty much what you’d expect from a granite business. It’s a big open space filled with slabs of stone in all different colors and sizes. It’s a bit of a dusty environment, so we don't bother with fancy clothes or a polished office. Our office is really just a small room at the front where we keep our books and a table for when customers come to talk. Most of our work happens outside, moving the heavy slabs with the crane or getting them loaded onto trucks. It’s physical, tiring work and the noise of the machinery is something you just get used to. We don't have a marketing team or any shiny brochures. People come to us because they know we have the stock and we’ve been in Jigani for a long time. The yard can look a bit messy with offcuts of stone everywhere, but we know where everything is. We take pride in just being a straightforward business. We show up early, deal with the stone, and head home tired. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s an honest one. If you’re looking for a fancy showroom, this isn't it, but we have plenty of good granite.
