Satcom Cellular Service is tucked right into Krishna Market 1 on Sardar Patrappa Road. If you know the market, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something going on. We are right in the middle of it. We mostly fix phones that have been dropped or have some kind of water damage. We also sell a lot of small accessories like cases and screen protectors. It’s a small shop, so things are stacked pretty high on the shelves and it can get a bit cluttered. There’s usually a bit of noise from the street, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. People just see our sign while they're doing their shopping and stop in to ask a question. We try to be quick because we know people can't be without their phones for long these days. Some days we have a lot of repairs waiting and other days it’s just selling recharges and SIM cards. We’ve seen every kind of phone problem you can imagine. We don't use any complicated jargon with our customers. We just tell you if we can fix it and how much it’ll cost. It’s a busy life here in the market, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We know most of the other shop owners around here. It’s a tight community. We just keep our heads down and keep working on whatever device is in front of us.
