Sasken

Sasken has this spot at number 28, right on the First AC Cross in the Fifth AB Block of Koramangala. If you know Bangalore, you know Koramangala is always moving. Our building is a bit older than some of the new ones popping up around us, but it’s sturdy. We occupy a space that feels a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. There are files stacked in the corners and a few plants that someone forgets to water more often than they should. The light in the afternoons is actually quite nice through the front windows. We don't have any big flashy signs out front, just the name. Most of us commute in from different parts of the city, so the first half hour of the day is usually just people complaining about the traffic on the way to the Fifth Block. We have a small kitchen area where the microwave lives, and that’s basically the social hub of the office. It’s a very plain environment, no fancy lounge chairs or anything like that. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get home before the evening rain starts. It’s an honest place to work, and we like the neighborhood because there’s always somewhere to grab a quick coffee or a snack if the day is getting too long for us. We just keep things simple and get through the list.
