You can find us at No 13 in Balaji Layout, which is over in the Vidyaranyapura area of Bangalore. Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd has been here for a bit now. It is a bit further out from the city center, which means it is a lot more peaceful than most parts of town. We like the quiet. It helps us think when we are working on complicated communication technology stuff. The office is basically just a house that has been turned into a workspace. It has got a bit of a homey feel because of that. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and heat up our tiffins. The team is small and we all know each other’s names. We don’t have a lot of hierarchy or fancy titles. Most of the day is spent staring at code or testing different systems. Sometimes the garden outside needs a bit of weeding, but we are tech people, not gardeners. The neighbors are friendly and we don’t make too much noise. It is a solid place to spend the day. We don’t have any big missions or fancy goals. We just want to provide good tech work and earn a living. If you are looking for a corporate skyscraper, this isn't it. It is just a regular building where some regular people work on some pretty complex software. We just keep our heads down and work.
