Saravanan Tiles Co.

Saravanan Tiles Co is located right on Whitefield Road at number 501. If you know this road, you know how crazy the traffic can get at almost any hour. We spend a lot of our time watching the cars crawl past while we wait for customers. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and the building has seen better days, but it holds our stock just fine. We have all sorts of tiles, from the cheap ones for back rooms to the nicer ones people put in their hallways. It’s just me and a couple of guys from the nearby village who do the heavy lifting. We don't have any computers for the inventory. We just write everything down in a big ledger book that stays on the main counter. Sometimes we lose a pen and have to hunt for it under the tile samples. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. The heat can be tough in the afternoons since we don't have much of a breeze in the back storage area. We usually take turns going to the tea stall across the road to get away from the dust for a few minutes. People come in with all sorts of questions, and we just tell them what we know. We don't try to push anything on anyone. If we have it, we sell it. If we don't, we tell them where else to look.
