Saraswathi Plastics

Our shop is over in Kadugondanahalli, right on the 14th Main Road at house number 16. If you live around this part of the city, you probably know how the 14th Main gets during the rush hour. We have been selling plastic items here for quite some time. It’s a lot of buckets, containers, and those small things people need for their kitchens or bathrooms. The shelves are usually packed quite tight because we try to keep a bit of everything in stock. It gets dusty sometimes with the wind blowing off the road but we try to keep it clean enough. We spend most of the day just helping folks find a specific size of tub or a lid that fits. It’s not complicated work, just straightforward selling. Most of our customers are locals who walk over from the nearby houses. We know many of them by name now after all these years. The building is simple and we don’t have any big signs or bright lights. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s quiet just to watch the cars go by. It’s a decent spot to be in and the neighbors are mostly friendly. We open up early and stay until the evening when the street lights come on. It’s just a regular local business doing what it does every day on the 14th Main Road. We like it here and the pace suits us just fine.
