Sankhla Industries

Peenya is a loud place. We have been here at number 147 for quite some time now. Most days start early before the sun is even up properly because there is always something to move or a machine to check. Sankhla Industries isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is mostly metal, oil, and the sound of work being done. We handle a lot of industrial stuff here and the floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or scrap. The guys work hard and sometimes we lose track of time when a big order comes in. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get through it. People know us in this part of the industrial estate. If you walk past, you’ll probably see a truck parked outside or someone unloading raw materials. It is not always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is kept. We do what we do every day without much fuss. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out or fix a fuse. That is just how it goes in a place like this. We are just regular people making things and trying to keep the machines running without too many breakdowns. It is a long day usually, but seeing the finished products stacked up makes it feel okay for us.
