Sai Saptagiri Granites Ltd.

We’ve been running Sai Saptagiri Granites Ltd. out of this spot in Dwarakapuri Colony for a while now. Being on the second floor in Punjagutta means we see a lot of the city bustle every single day. It’s not the easiest place to move heavy stone samples around, but we make it work somehow. Downstairs, the traffic is always a bit of a mess, but up here, we just focus on the slabs and the orders coming in. Most days start with checking what stock we have left and talking to people who are just trying to finish their home renovations. It’s a lot of looking at different shades of grey and black stone. Sometimes the samples get a bit dusty if they’ve been sitting there for a week. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights, just the office where we keep the records and meet folks. Dealing with granite is heavy work, and it can be quite stressful when the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes around here. We’ve had to figure out the best times for loading so we don't block the whole road. It’s just how things go in this part of town. The office isn't anything special to look at, but it’s where all the decisions happen and where we keep the tea kettle running. It feels like we’ve spent half our lives looking at stone measurements and making sure the billing is right.
