Sagar Stone

Sagar Stone is located at No- 158, 4th Cross, in the Jhbcs Layout near Kadrenahalli Cross. We are tucked away in a spot that’s easy enough to find once you know the layout. The yard here isn’t massive, but we manage to fit a good variety of stones in the space we have. Most of our mornings are spent moving slabs around with the equipment to make sure the ones people want to see are accessible. Kadrenahalli Cross is usually quite busy, so the noise from the traffic is just something we live with every day. We’ve been here for a good number of years and have seen the neighborhood grow and change quite a bit. Our work is pretty simple—we look after the stone and help people pick out what they need for their floors or counters. We don't have a big polished office; we usually just talk to folks right out in the yard where the stone is kept. Sometimes it’s rainy and the yard gets a bit muddy, or it’s really dusty during the dry season, but that’s just part of working with natural materials. We don't use any fancy scripts when people call or visit. We just tell them what we have and how much it costs. It’s a basic operation, but we take pride in just doing our jobs and being here every day. It’s hard work, but we like being part of the community.
