Safa Granite & Marble

Our place is tucked away in Begihalli Village, over in the Jigani Hobli area. If you know Anekal Taluk, you know this part of the world is basically built on granite. We have our small setup at 11/6 where we keep the stock. It is not the easiest place to find if you aren't local, but once you get here, you will see we have quite a bit of variety. We spend most of our days dealing with the cutters and making sure the polish is right on the slabs. The noise of the machinery is something you just get used to after a few weeks. It is a family thing, mostly. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Usually, it is just us and a few workers moving things around. The village life is quiet, but the granite business keeps us moving. People come from the city sometimes because they want to see where the stone actually comes from before it gets all shiny in a shop. We show them the raw edges and the different thicknesses we have available. It is a lot of manual labor, checking for cracks and making sure the colors match up for a single order. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the lorries to arrive. It is steady work. We have seen the area change a bit over the years, but the stone stays the same. It’s just how things go around here.
