Started the shop at 814 Jayanagar Hosur Main Road quite a few years back now. It gets really busy around here with all the traffic passing by, but we don't mind it much. Mostly, we are out at sites anyway, getting paint on our clothes and making sure walls look decent for the people who live there. We handle all sorts of jobs, from small flats to bigger houses around the area. It’s a lot of climbing ladders and checking if the weather is okay for a second coat. Sometimes people come by the office to talk about colors, but half the time we’re just chatting about things happening in the neighborhood. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the exterior walls, but it pays the bills. My hands are usually stained with some color or the other, even after scrubbing them for a long time. We try to keep things simple and just do what we said we’d do when we started. There’s no fancy office here, just a lot of cans, brushes, and some old rollers sitting around in the corners. If you’re walking down Hosur Main Road, you might see us loading up the truck early in the morning. It’s a messy business, honestly. We spend a lot of time taping up edges and making sure we don't drip on the floors, though accidents happen sometimes and we have to clean them up quick. That’s just how it goes in this trade.
