Taj Brush House

You can find Taj Brush House over at No. 15 on Godown Street. It’s right near the S.J.P. Road Cross. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something happening on the street. We are pretty close to Hotel Chandra Bhavan, which is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. The smell of sambar and coffee from the hotel drifts over here sometimes in the morning. Being on Godown Street means it’s a bit tight for space, but we make it work. We have all sorts of brushes stacked up inside. It’s a bit dusty, honestly, because that’s just the nature of what we handle. The building is old and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it’s been home for a long time. People come in looking for specific things for their shops or their homes, and we just point them to the right pile. It’s not a showroom or anything fancy. It’s more like a warehouse where we also happen to sell things. On rainy days, the water pools up a bit near the entrance, so we have to watch our step. Sometimes the traffic on S.J.P. Road is so bad that deliveries get delayed, but we just wait it out. It’s a busy life here in the market area, but we like being in the middle of all that energy.
