S N S Auto Electrical Works

Down in Nava Bazar in Devanagundi, you’ll find S N S Auto Electrical Works. It’s a workshop, so don't expect it to be clean. There's grease on the walls and the floor is stained with oil from years of fixing cars and bikes. We mostly deal with wiring, batteries, and starters. It’s greasy work and our hands are usually black by the end of the day. We have tools scattered all over the benches, but we can find the right wrench even in the dark. The Bazar is a loud place, full of people shouting and horns honking, but we’re used to it. We don't have a waiting room with a TV or anything. If you bring your vehicle in, you usually just stand around and watch us work or go grab a tea nearby. We don't do any fancy marketing. Word gets around if you do a decent job, and that’s how we get most of our work. Some days we're swamped with five different cars lined up outside, and other days we’re just cleaning up the shop and waiting for the phone to ring. We’ve been at this a long time, so we’ve seen all sorts of old engines and weird electrical problems. We just take it one job at a time and try to get people back on the road. It’s dusty and noisy, but it’s what we do. It's an honest living and it keeps us busy.
