S M Hardware Trading

We’ve been at 32 Sampangiram Nagar for a while now. The address used to be Old No 10 on the 1st Main Road, but things change over time in this part of S R Ngr. People around here know us mostly for the hardware supplies we keep on the shelves. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the sun hits the front door just right. We spend a lot of time just organizing the nuts and bolts because they always seem to get mixed up. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much, but that’s just how it is with a hardware shop. My father started things out and we just kept it going. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. Just racks of metal parts and tools. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first opened up. There is way more traffic now. We spend most of the day talking to contractors or just local guys trying to fix a leaky pipe at home. Usually, we have tea around four when the rush dies down a little. It isn't a huge place, so you have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a bucket or a crate in the aisle. We try to keep things where we can find them, but every now and then a specific size of screw goes missing. It's a simple way to earn a living. We open early and close when the street lights come on.
