S M Hardware & Trading is tucked away in S.R. Nagar. Specifically, you can find us at Shop No -7/1 on 4th Main Road, right near 11th Cross. It’s a typical hardware shop setup where things are stacked from the floor to the ceiling. We have all sorts of metal parts, tools, and random bits of equipment shoved into every available corner. If you are looking for something specific, you usually have to ask because we are the only ones who can navigate the aisles without knocking something over. The 4th Main Road is usually humming with noise. There are scooters parked everywhere and people constantly moving between the different shops on the cross streets. We get a lot of regulars who come in for a single bolt or a specific tool they lost. The shop isn't very large, so it can feel a bit cramped when more than two people are inside at the same time. We don't really mind the clutter, though. It feels like a workspace where things actually happen. Some days are slow and we just sit by the front door watching the traffic on 11th Cross, while other days we are constantly climbing ladders to reach stuff on the top shelves. It is a plain, hardworking environment and we like it that way. We've been here in S.R. Nagar for a good bit and the routine hasn't changed much over the years.
