S K P T Lorry Service is located at 162/2 in Byatayanapura. We are a bit far from the center of town, which actually works out better for moving the big lorries. We have a dusty yard where the trucks are parked when they aren't out on a delivery. The office is just a small, simple cabin with a big wooden desk and some benches for the drivers to rest on. We spend most of our time on the phone, tracking where the loads are and talking to the people waiting for them. It’s a pretty tough business to be in. Things like broken engines or flat tires happen all the time, and we have to deal with them right away. We don't have a receptionist or a polished office space. Usually, it’s just one of us sitting there with the logbooks and a heavy phone. The area is full of warehouses, so there’s always a lot of dust and noise. When it rains, the whole yard turns into a muddy mess. We’ve been running this service for a long time now. The work is hard and the hours are usually quite late because that’s when the trucks are mostly on the move. We don't use any slogans or have a fancy logo. We just move goods from one point to another. Sometimes we sit outside on old plastic chairs just to get some fresh air. It is just the way we live.
