Down here in Jayanagar, right on the corner of Elephant Rock Road and Pattalamma Temple Road, you will find our D H L Express (India) Pvt Ltd branch. We are located at 35/A 27/G-7 in the 3rd Block. It is a very busy little corner of the world. We spend most of our day weighing various boxes, printing out shipping labels, and making sure everything is taped up as tight as possible. There are always big trucks coming and going, which makes the street out front pretty cramped during the middle of the day. The office inside is mostly just a long counter and some storage space for packages waiting to go out on the next van. We see all kinds of stuff pass through here, from simple letters to big boxes that people are worried about shipping. We just take them in, scan the barcodes, and put them in the right pile for the drivers. The staff here has been working together for a bit, so we know the regulars who come in every week. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going at full speed. We do not do anything fancy here, just the basic work of moving things from one place to another. Sometimes the computer system is slow, and we have to ask people to wait a minute, but mostly the line moves along. We are just a local branch.
