S B Refrigration & Air Condition is over at Lingarajapuram Survey Number 32 Lane Number 6 B / 5 Block 1. Finding this place can be a bit of a headache if you aren't from around here because the lanes all look the same. We have a lot of heavy equipment sitting around and the floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or metal shavings. It’s a very hands-on environment and we are almost always wearing work clothes that have seen better days. My cousin helps out with the heavy lifting and we usually have the radio playing some local station in the background. We don't have a proper waiting room so if someone stops by they usually just stand near the workbench while we talk. It gets quite hot in the afternoons since the roof is just tin sheets but we have a couple of old fans that help a bit. We don't have a secretary to handle the calls so we just pick up the phone whenever we hear it over the noise of the machines. It is a messy job and our hands are rarely clean but it is what we know how to do. We’ve been in this same block for a long time and the neighbors know us well. We don't have any brochures or fancy presentations. We just show people what we are working on and tell them how it is.
