Royal Orchid Central sits on 3rd Main Road over in RT Nagar. It’s a part of Bangalore that stays busy from sunrise until late at night. We’re at number 23, and if you’ve been around here, you probably know the building already. Every morning is a bit of a rush with people checking out and new folks coming in with their luggage. The lobby gets quite crowded when the tour buses arrive, and we’re all hands on deck trying to get keys handed out as fast as we can. It’s not just about the rooms though; we spend a lot of time in the kitchen and the dining area. The smells of coffee and breakfast start drifting through the hallways pretty early. Our staff is a local bunch, and we’ve all got our favorite spots in RT Nagar for a quick bite when we’re on a break. We don't have a lot of big corporate meetings about things like vision or goals. We just focus on whether the linens are clean and if the guests have what they need for the night. Bangalore weather is usually nice, so we keep the windows clear so people can look out at the city. It’s a lot of routine work—checking schedules, answering the phones, and making sure the floors are mopped. We’ve been here a while and have seen the streets outside get narrower as more cars arrive. It’s just how things go.
