Rock Granitetiles

Rock Granitetiles is over at No. 19 on 8th Main in Ramanjneya Nagar Lay Out, right near S. V. S. School. If you come by during the day, you’ll probably hear the school bell or the kids playing outside during their breaks. Our shop is tucked into this neighborhood, and it stays quite busy with people coming and going. We keep a lot of our granite and tile stock leaning against the walls, which makes the space feel a bit crowded but that’s just how we work. There is a small desk in the corner where we keep our records, though it’s usually covered in samples and bits of stone. We don’t really do the whole polished sales pitch thing here. Instead, we just show people what we have in the back and tell them how much is left in stock. The 8th Main road can get a bit cramped when we have a truck unloading, so we have to move fast to get everything inside. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and carrying, so we’re usually pretty tired by the end of the day. The shop doesn't have air conditioning, so we just leave the front open and let the breeze in, along with whatever dust is blowing off the road. It’s a simple setup where we just focus on getting the right tiles to the people who live around here.
