Our place is at 96 Charak Sadan in Vikas Puri, New Delhi. It's 110018 for those who need the pin code. We work in securities, which basically means we spend our days looking at numbers and handling the market stuff for people around here. Vikas Puri is a nice enough area, though it gets quite congested during the rush hours. Charak Sadan is easy to find if you’re familiar with this side of Delhi. It’s a regular office, not very big, but it fits what we need to do. Most of our work is done on computers and over the phone. We don’t have a lot of walk-ins, but some regulars stop by to check on their accounts or just to have a quick chat about how the market is doing. It’s a straightforward job really. We just try to stay organized and keep the records straight. There’s always a bit of paperwork to catch up on, so we stay fairly busy from morning till evening. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm; we just provide help for the local community who wants to get into the stock market. It's been our home for a while and we know the neighborhood well. Sometimes the phones ring more than we’d like, but that's just how the securities business goes. We don't have a fancy lobby, just some chairs and our desks where the work happens. It’s a practical setup for the daily grind of trading and account management.
