Regaalis Hotel, Bangalore

People have been coming through the doors at 40/2 Lavelle Road for quite a few years now. Being right here in the middle of Bangalore means things never really get quiet. There is always someone checking in late or asking where to find a good cup of coffee nearby. We don’t try to be anything fancy, we just keep the place running. The hallways have seen a lot of footsteps and the paint might not be as fresh as it was a decade ago, but it holds up. Most of the staff here have stayed on for a long time, so we all know the routine pretty well. We spend a lot of our day just making sure the rooms are tidy and the plumbing isn't acting up. Bangalore traffic is a mess outside, especially during the rush hours, but once you step inside, it’s a bit more manageable. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do. It is just a hotel where you can put your bags down and sleep for the night. Sometimes the elevator takes a second too long, or the lobby gets crowded when a big group arrives all at once, but that is just how it goes here. We see a lot of business travelers and families passing through. Most people are just looking for a place that is close to where they need to be on Lavelle Road. We just keep doing what we do every day.
