Recs Partners is situated at number 24 in Victoria Layout, which is over in the Budhwar Peth area. A good way to find us is to look for the Darshana Hotel, as we are quite close to it. The neighborhood has a lot of character, with old buildings and narrow lanes that have been there forever. Our office is in one of those older structures. It has high ceilings which is nice when it gets hot, though the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint one of these days. We have a few desks pushed together and some old chairs that we’ve had since we first started. It’s a practical setup for us. We spend our days mostly on the phones or looking at the computer screens to get things done. It’s not a place for anything flashy or expensive. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, and we often see the same people walking by every morning. Budhwar Peth is always bustling, and being near the hotel means there’s always someone new around too. We’ve settled into this spot nicely over the years. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two in the afternoon, but we just take that as a sign to have some tea and wait it out. It’s just the way things go around here.
