Our place, Rci Granites And Marbles, is situated at 25/5 Doddakalasandra on B P C Road. If you come by, you’ll see lots of heavy stone slabs leaning against the walls. It’s a dusty job, and there’s always a bit of white powder on the floor from cutting and moving the pieces. We don’t have a polished showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s more of a yard and a workshop combined. We spend most of our time moving things around with the crane or checking the quality of the stone. It’s heavy work, and our backs often ache by the end of the day. The traffic on B P C Road can be a bit much, especially with the trucks coming in and out. We’ve been in Doddakalasandra for a while and we like the community here. Most of our days are spent talking to people who are building houses or fixing up their kitchens. We show them what we have in stock and let them decide. There’s no pressure or fancy sales talk here. We just know our stone and where it comes from. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We keep a small kettle for making tea during the breaks. It’s a simple life surrounded by a lot of heavy rock and the sound of the main road outside. We just stay busy with the orders that come through.
