Rayaan Export & Import

We set up Rayaan Export & Import on Hayath Street. It’s near the road cross, so it's fairly easy to find once you know the area. The building at No. 5 is pretty old, but it stays cool in the heat, which is nice. We don’t have a lot of space, so things are packed in pretty tight. Most of our time is spent dealing with the paperwork that comes with moving goods around. It isn't the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy. We have a couple of computers that have seen better days. There's usually a lot of noise from the street outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of staff. It’s just a small group of us trying to do a good job. We handle things as they come. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. That's just part of the business. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a glossy website. We just tell people where we are and what we do. It’s a basic setup, really. We focus on the logistics and hope for the best. It’s been working out for us so far at this location. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like being our own bosses here in this part of town.
