Ravindra V Hegde

This is Ravindra V Hegde. I work out of my place in JP Nagar Phase V. It’s a nice enough area, specifically Block A of Himagiri Green Forest on Silver Oak Street. Being on the third floor in Flat T-4 gives a bit of a view, though mostly it’s just the neighboring trees. I’ve been in Bangalore for quite a few years now. The city has changed a lot, but this corner of Vinayaka Nagar stays relatively quiet. I set up my workspace here because it's comfortable. I don't see the point in commuting hours every day when I can just walk to the next room and get to work. It's just me mostly, keeping things moving. I handle the paperwork and the actual work without much fuss. Bangalore traffic is something else, so staying put in JP Nagar is a blessing. My neighbors are used to seeing people come and go occasionally. It’s a very residential vibe, which I prefer over a cold office building. Sometimes the lift acts up, so walking up to the third floor is my exercise for the day. I don’t have a big staff or anyone answering phones. If there’s a problem, I fix it. It's a straightforward way to live and work. I've been doing this for a while and it seems to work out okay for everyone involved. I just take things one day at a time here in Bangalore.
